Who is

Who is

As a child, Isabella Morillo left behind her home in Lima, Peru and migrated to the US with her family, finding herself in an unfamiliar place without a clear sense of identity.

However, it was through urban art that she discovered her true passion and found a way to express herself authentically. Drawing inspiration from her vibrant Peruvian roots and cultural heritage, Morillo uses artivism to represent the marginalized voices often silenced by society.

The struggle of leaving her homeland behind fuels her obsession with creating art that showcases the beauty and diversity of her Peruvian culture. In a world where she often feels like an outsider, Morillo has found solace in the vibrant colors and bold expression.

What started as small sketches soon led to becoming an aspiring muralist with an electric taste, with her work ranging from digital art to production designs. And most recently, even collaborated with modern artists in the NFT space. Through her work, she hopes to inspire others who may also be struggling to find their voice.

Ultimately, it is this sense of purpose and belonging that drives Morillo’s artistic journey as a Indigenous woman finding her place in the world.
